Dr. Mary Ballard
Dr. Ballard is a native of Charleston, West Virginia. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology at West Virginia University with magna cum laude honors before pursuing her dental degree at Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine in New York. While in dental school, she earned the Alpha Omega award for the highest academic standing in her class and was inducted into the OKU national dental honor society.
After dental school, she completed her four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. During that time, she also served in roles at the The Johns Hopkins Hospital, the VA Medical Center, and Children’s National Medical Center.
She is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is also a member of the Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Racine County Dental Society.
She has a special interest in dentoalveolar surgery and sedation, dental implants, pediatric oral surgery, bone grafting and reconstruction, and oral pathology.
Dr. Ballard lives with her husband, Dr. Deno Tiboris, who is also an oral surgeon, and their young children. She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and following West Virginia and Wisconsin sports.

Adrian Rivas, DMD

Adrian Rivas, DMD
Dr. Rivas is a Miami, Florida native. He earned his bachelor degree in Anthropology at the University of Florida. He went on to complete his dental degree at Nova Southeastern University, where he was inducted into the Omicron Delta Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
After dental school he completed a three year residency in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at NSU. Following his completion of this residency Dr. Rivas has continued to add to his clinical armamentarium with continuing education in sedation and laser dentistry. He is one of only a few Periodontists in Southeast Wisconsin that utilizes the LANAP Protocol (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure), which is a minimally invasive surgical treatment for gum disease.
He is a Board-Certified Periodontist and current President of the Racine Dental Society. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association and Racine Dental Society.
He moved to the Midwest in 2013 to be closer to his wife’s family. He has three boys, and enjoys skiing, cooking, golfing and spending time with his family in the outdoors.
